A Vancouver Date for Neil Young, Sarah McLachlan and Sheryl Crow concert will be announced today.

McLachlan, Young and Sheryl Crow will be playing a benefit concert for the Sarah McLachlan Foundation on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver.

The event, called Summer Sessions at Ambleside, will be an all-day affair, with several more acts. Tickets are $89 and $139, and go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. at www.selectyourtickets.com or by calling 1-866-514-5050. Capacity will be 9,000.

The McLachlan Foundation provides free music programs to youth in "under-served communities" such as Vancouver's east side. This includes "high-quality instruction in guitar, piano, percussion and choir."
