Dreamin' Man', Neil Young Archives Performance Series #12, will be released on December 8, roughly 17 years after the original release of Harvest Moon. This will be Young's 17th CD release of year. (CD is now available for pre-order on Amazon.com.

Does anyone know the release date for the Blueray NYPS #12...Only been notified of the CD release so far.
Oh my God, that's probalbly the most beautiful acoustic guitar-sound I've ever heard! And the vocals are fantastic as well! Neil was really zoned in and into it on this tour, even though the audience was very rowdy and a bit bewildered with all the new material! Can't wait to replace my very-good-vibes-but-shitty-sounding-bootlegs with this one.
Astrololee, Archives Guy said that we won't see a Blu Ray version for this release because it was originally recorded in digital (44.1kHz/16-bit) therefore no advantage in sound quality by releasing it on Blu Ray. However we will see a Vinyl release, so I don't quite understand what the improvement in SQ will be with Vinyl?? If somebody can explain that would be great.
Still hanging out for the first 4 on Blu Ray as well as Fork!
The Vinyl release is probably simply for the benefit of vinyl junkies.
I'd say that there's likely no sound improvement transferring from digital to vinyl.

These tracks are so wonderful!Neil is one of few artists to play acoustic as well electric.In the same way, I've just downloaded from Itunes the beautiful Greendale Live At Vicar Street, a great acoustic version of Greendale, interspected with Neil monologues.

I do try to get all NY releases on vinyl as well as CD but would also like them all now in Blu Ray too..you can never have enough Neil!
