In probably one of the more astonishing news items we've ever posted, here's Neil Young's 1993 Harley-Davidson Softail on auction on eBay.

We thinks this might signal a commitment to the LincVolt project.

If you go on ebay and track prior transactions from this seller, he's been buying up rare Neil recordings and memorabilia on ebay for some time ... this is his first sale ... inaresting

Speaking of which, I bought Comes a Time last month and was astonished at how bad 'Motorcycle Mama' is - thank goodness Neil didn't write many others like that, it's an embarrassment!

Hi 11/08/2009 06:02:00 PM:

Just a reminder, its not censorship to delete off-topic posts.

Your comment had absolutely nothing to do w/ eBay auction.

peace

Beautiful Bike! Being a motorcycle fanatic myself I can appreciate the description of all the work that went into this bike. An acquaintance once went to a job interview and the employer was not identified. He was taken to a room and heard a motorcycle rumble outside. In walked Neil Young to interview him for the Lionel train audio project. This was around 1993 too. Must have been this Harley he rode up on!

Re: "Trasher-- it looks like you believe censorship."

That's the kind of ignorance that really drives me up the wall around here. If you don't like "Trasher", don't come on his frigging website. Flush your crap or take it elsewhere.

Kertis-

Maybe you should just go back to watching your FOX News.

FOX? Where'd you get the impression I'm a FOX news viewer? Far from it actually. Then again your impression that this website is censored apparently came from thin air as well so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.

Hello all, and most especially the folks at Thrasher! I visit a few times everyday and am always amazed at the breadth of material you have on Mr. Young. You see, I'm Canadian, and have been a 'fan' since 1968 or so(can't quite remember a time when i wasn't, but that was the 60s) and I have visited the area around the 'ranch' to get the vibe and feel, so that when I now hear 'the music' I get that far away look in my soul. Thanks for all you do Thrasher, and don't pay no mind to the folks who talk 'bout censorin' stuff. That's 'bout all they got time for, i suspect.
