I'll keep this short as I'm shattered... Awesome show. Same setlist as Brisbane BDO. Neil was on fire tonight. Crowd showed him alot of love. No sitting!!

Looking forward to tomorrow night!

Cheers - Dave

Just got back from BDO in Sydney. It was the first time I've seen Neil rockin' in person and it was one of the most amazing experiences I've had, the raw energy blasting out of Old Black and that magnatone was awe inspiring. His voice was really good aswell, last year when CSN came to Australia it was a great show but their harmonies were not the same, which you can't expect after 35 years. Or maybe its because Neil has kept making music and the difference in time isn't as big. The setlist was the same as the Gold Coast bdo.

The mosh pit was roomy but everyone almost really went off during RITFW. People were just groovin' and cruisin’ most of the time.

I'm going to see him again tonight at the entertainment centre :D
definitely worth coughing up the bucks. Anyway its only fuckin' money :D

Wow is all I can say! As most the youth dispensed over to the Artic monkeys, it was unbelievably easy for me to get right to the front! Why pay for a gold ticket at the sideshows when you can just walk up the front at the Big Day Out? with no hassles! Anyway I got some amaizing photo's and when I get back to New Zealand I will see if I can get them posted on this site. Going to see him tomorow also. Can't wait!

I live not far from Olympic Park and I could hear Neil's voice very faintly wafting on the breeze from the comfort of my backyard last night. A very haunting sound, and it got me so excited for tonight. I can't wait. From what I saw of him in '89 I know I'm in for something special. It'll be my son's first concert too. I don't think he's gonna forget it in a hurry! Thanks for the reviews everyone. It's great to hear he's still got it after all these years.

Seems like the Archives site won't be coming back. Can't say I'm surprised though because I knew it was just a stupid tease to begin with.

This is a great picture of cute little old black with a giant Magnatone in Brisbane.

Does anyone know why Neil is using the Magnatone on this tour???

BDO concert was awesome and I was in the D with a bunch of young kids (under 30) and they were singing along and totally into it. Went to the Ent Cent the next night. Surrounded by people my own age... and the idiots just sat there. Little bit of feeble singing but most just sat down. They should have stayed home with the remote and a DVD. Neil rocks and I don't blame him for being upset. He gave everything and the bulk of the audience gave nothing back.
