Thanks for Supporting Thrasher's Wheat!

It's been a very good year for Neil Young fans. We have so much to be thankful for. The Live Archives release of Massey Hall and the new Chrome Dreams II. And, of course, a mind blowing tour.

And with all of the Neil news, there has been a steady increase in the number of visitors and traffic here at Thrasher's Wheat. So a big thanks to all you long time regular readers and a welcome to new readers. Your supportive comments are most appreciated.

Now, with the tour underway, site traffic has surged again leading to increased bandwidth fees. Last year, for the first time in the 11 year history of Thrasher's Wheat, we asked for reader's support. And your support over the past year has been wonderful and generous. Earlier this year, we were able to make a $100 donation to the The Bridge School using a portion of contributions.

So, once again, we would like to request your support in order to continue Thrasher's Wheat and make improvements such as faster page loads. Also, the preference is to keep the site advertisement free. By going the reader-supported route, there are two ways in which you can support Thrasher's Wheat.

The first option is to make a donation using PayPal. Just click on the link below to make a donation. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can use a credit card to make a donation.

The second option is to shop for your CDs, DVDs, books and other merchandise using the Amazon link below. Each time you purchase an item on Amazon, Thrasher's Wheat will receive a small commission.

Hopefully, this will work to help defray the costs of running Thrasher's Wheat. Any excess funds generated above and beyond operating expenses will be donated to The Bridge School.

Again, thanks to everyone for your support, ideas, and submissions over the last 11 years. It is very much appreciated!

And Keep on Rockin' in the Free World and Be the Rain!

I've been reading this site quite a long time, but this is my first post here. I like to Trasher for great work.

Trasher's Wheat is surely the most powerful and greatest Neil Young newsroom in the world!

Wow! The first proper website for Neil. Don't mean to sound dismissive or patronising, but some of the other websites I've skimmed are crass and ... just bloody silly, really. This site seems to really appreciate yer man and to talk about his work in an intelligent way. I'm not particularly intelligent, but hopefully not crass or silly either, and I'd really like to join in with some of the conversations, if you'll have me. I'm English, but just moved to New Zealand and Neil's music is a real comfort when things are feeling a bit weird. I'd love to see him play at the Bowl of Brooklands, here in New Plymouth (likely!) Thank you, Thrasher, for a little bit of sense in a silly world.
