Last night, Neil Young, Willie Nelson and Jonathan Demme -- among many, many others attended the film premiere of the widely acclaimed 'Heart of Gold' in Nashville, Tennessee.

Judging from the attendees, it was almost like last night in Nashville was the TRUE film premiere. Completing the circle on those magical Nashville August nights.

From Nashville Scene interview by Jim Ridley, Neil discusses the travesty occuring in Nashville where a high-rise building is going up next door next to the Ryman that will block the light into the stained glass windows:

"It’s a huge lack of foresight. An incredibly huge lack on the part of the city. Still, they’re never going to be able to change what’s here. There’ll be a battle before it’s changed, because it’s a big part of the city. Eventually everything changes, you can’t stop it. (smiles) But we’ll slow it down."
