Broken Arrow Magazine - Issue #101

broken-arrow-cover-101-feb-2006.jpg

Every quarter, just like clockwork, Broken Arrow Magazine, published by the Neil Young Appreciation Society, arrived over the weekend.

After hitting the BIG 100 of issues last quarter, Issue #101 (February 2006) of Broken Arrow Magazine begins it's 2nd century count with lots of innarestin' articles, charts and some nice photos.

The cover photographer is unknown as well as venue info. It appears to be from European Trans tour in 1982, possibly Wembley? If anyone has more specifics on the cover photo, contact Broken Arrow's editor, Scott Sandie (surfer-joe@nyas.org.uk) or drop a comment below and we'll relay.

Also in Issue #101:

- Billy Talbot in Europe by Joost Groen
- Shakey Comes Alive! by Mike Cordova on Rustie Ron Starrett's collaborative audio book
- Prairie Wind review by Johnny Rogan
- An Interview with Ken Koblun (former band Squires) by Mike Currie

Check out the Neil Young Appreciation Society page for more info on how to join.

Don't be denied!

Thanks Scott and everyone who is supporting the NYAS & BA!

Me too. Hair too short for Solo trans - I'm guessing 79-80 timeframe.

Red Rocks awaits, Neil!

It's definitely TRANS tour. Note the tie! Neil NEVER wears a tie!

Maybe you're referring to the "Dutch Neil Young" Ad Vanderveen that we covered a couple of years ago?

I've been a longtime fan of Neil's but I've never heard of this magazine? Where has it been all these years when I needed it?
