Greendale Songbook Winner

poster-autograph-feedback.jpg

Congratulations to Steve Cross for his winning entry in the Greendale Songbook Contest.

Steve has a great story about chasing Neil Young and Crazy Horse for their autograph on a "Feedback is Back" poster.

The tale takes place on the Greendale tour at the Starlight Amphitheatre in Kansas City, KS on August 9th, 2003.

While not all of our heroes fare well in this saga, Steve and his brother will not be denied!

More on the Don't Spook The Horse Quest.

Again, congratulations Steve. And thanks to all the other submissions. A tough choice. More on runner-ups shortly.

Interesting to see what a bastard David Crosby was when approached by a fan. It shows CSN really is a bunch of old guys who don't give a %^&* about the fans. Even if Neil is a grump, it doesn't matter because he is still making better music than CSN have ever done.

what a great story..... I never realized that ebay was having such a negative impact on getting autographs...Crosby certainly lived up to his reputation as an ass....

crosby may be a wonderful part of our musical heritage, but too bad he thinks he is such gift to us all. he forgets his roots. i guess we'll never understand what its like to be hounded by fans, so lets just admire them from a distance. we love them all, but they're not really our friends...
